2008 Homepage Archive

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the lake.  Keep sending us your pictures, we love to share them.

We are now on-line with Google Maps and Picasa WebAlbums.  You can get to them through our webpages, or directly at Map.SteenburgLake.com and Photos.SteenburgLake.com.

When you e-mail us a picture, feel free to add a caption or some comments with your shots.  And if you know of a special place somewhere in the community that others might like to visit, tell us about it so that we can include it as a point of interest on our map.

It would appear that snow has arrived, just in time for the holidays.

A Happy Thanksgiving to all those who live south of the border.   If you've decided to spend some time at the lake this fall, I'm sure you can appreciate the extra value of the rising US dollar.

By now, we've all received our 2008 property assessment notice.  In keeping with the current economic climate, it seems fitting to conduct a survey:

What can you do about property tax assessments?

i) Educate yourselfii) Appeal to MPAC, and iii) Sign the CAPTR petition
