SLCA GEOCACHE CHALLENGE

What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices, like most smartphones.
Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

Is there Geocaching etiquette?

If you take something from the geocache, leave something of equal or greater value, and write about your find in the cache logbook.

How is the Game Played?

Enter the coordinates of the geocache into your smartphone/GPS Device. Using a simple Google search works perfectly!
Use your smartphone/GPS device to assist you in finding the hidden geocache.
Take a photo of yourself with the cache.
Sign the logbook and return the geocache to its original location.

When you've found all four caches, email your photos to social@steenburglake.com for your prize!
